This is one of my favorite pictures from the last time: The march of the worker day 2012 in La Habana, Cuba.
For this country is an act of commemoration because, from the socialist revolution of 1959, the island have maintained a socialist system.
This event is traditional in Cuba since Fidel Castro took the command and it is also a way of showing support for the communist government of Cuba.
The parade celebrated under the theme "Preservar y perfeccionar el socialismo" attended 1,900 international activists from 117 countries, said the secretary general of the Confederation of Workers of Cuba, Salvador Valdes Mesa, inaugurated the event. A total of 209 trade unions were present.
This photo is one of my favorite not because I fully support the Cuban system, rather it is expresses the triumph of a people. A people that exceeds the U.S. colonialism and exploitation.
I hope you like the photo,
Greetings!
